There are now 30,000 to 50,000 ecommerce businesses in the United States, and ecommerce sales surpassed $1T in 2022. In 2024, 15.6% of total retail sales in the US are made online. By 2027, it is expected that ecommerce will make up more than 20% of the retail market.
